Little White Schoolhouse - part of the original 1872 schoolhouse. Home to a one room schoolhouse replica, the Alumni room full of school memorabilia, recognition plaques for school district retirees, and chalkboards for alumni signatures. This building had a pending application for the State Register of Historic Places.
Museum building - 310 W. 4th Ave - Thousands of items are on display including an office replica of Caney’s favorite son: Brigadier General George H. Wark, attorney, state senator and National Guard Hall of Fame member. The city park and a portion of Highway 75 are dedicated in his honor. The museum also features items & stories of local military heroes and veterans, area businesses, and Caney’s early years. There is an extensive research area with information on everything Caney, and thousands of obituaries for genealogy research.  
Dr’s Building - The structure was one of Caney's first post office buildings in town, later becoming a medical office. It became the first museum building in 1985, and was moved to its current location in 1999. From one of Caney's founders, Dr. A. M. Taylor, to the husband and wife team of Doctors Harry and Hattie Aldrich, you can find lots of historical information and items from local doctors, dentists and optometrists that are displayed in this building. An outdoor display is attached, featuring a metal mail cart that was used at the Santa Fe Railroad Depot and a refurbished 1919 Fire Department hose cart that was pulled by hand to fires. 
The Sandstone Event Center - 101 N. State Street - A beautiful building from 1887 that has been home to many businesses and organizations. The stone was cut from local farms and is still part of the main room. A concrete marker gives information about the hand-dug water well near that location, where the town was plotted from in 1887. The building was obtained by the Historical Society in 2007. The bottom floor has been updated, and since 2017 it has been an event venue for public rental. This building has a pending application for the National Register of Historic Places.
