Water and Sewer Rates

Listed below, you will find the City of Caney current water rates and policies. If you do not find the information you need, please contact our office and we will provide it for you. 

Should you experience a problem with your water, please call the phone numbers provided. We will do everything possible to locate the problem with your water.

Water Rates:

     Regular Rates
         Rate 1 Inside City Limits - $46.00 per month plus a Usage Rate of $0.00381 per gallon

         Rate 2 Outside City Limits - $46.25 per month plus a Usage Rate of $.004144 per gallon

Sewer Rates:

     Base Rate
          Inside City- $40.00
          Outside City- $46.00
     Usage Rate per Gallon
          Inside City- $0.003/gallon
          Outside City- $0.00335/gallon

The average monthly water usage for each customer shall be calculated from the customer's three normal billing cycles occurring during the monthly periods from Oct. 15 to Nov. 15, Nov. 15 to Dec. 15 and Dec. 15 to Jan. 15 of each year. The basis so established shall be used in rendering sewage service bills beginning the 15th day of February.

Penalty

10% penalty will be added if not paid by 5pm on the 15th of the month.

If the bill remains unpaid by the 25th, service will be discontinued.
