Planning and Zoning

The Planning and Zoning Department is responsible for the following duties:

• Preparing analysis for the City Planning, Zoning Board, and City Council
• Processing all rezoning applications
• Regulating the location and use of buildings, structures, and land within the City of Caney
• Regulating the height and size of buildings, percentage of lot coverage, size of yards and other open spaces, and the density of population
