CDBG Home Rehabilitation Project
The City of Caney will be soliciting bids for rehabilitation work at the following properties as part of its CDBG Home Rehabilitation Project: 102 N Fawn, 503 W 3rd, 221 N Wood, and 411 N Fawn. This federally funded project aims to enhance the safety and well-being of the Caney community through targeted housing rehabilitation.
This project is supported with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding. Federal regulations and contractor qualifications apply. A MANDATORY pre-bid tour will be held on June 3rd, 2025, starting at 10:30 AM at Caney City Hall, 100 W Fourth Ave, Caney, KS 67333. Attendance is required. Bids from contractors not attending the tour will be deemed non-responsive.
Sealed bids for the project will be received by the City Clerk at 100 W Fourth Ave, Caney, KS 67333 until June 18th, 2025 at 1:00PM, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Any person with a disability requiring special accommodations must contact the City of Caney no later than 7 days prior to the bid opening. Digital bids are permissible though a secure Dropbox link. Please email munruh@sckedd.org to request this accommodation. All bid documents may be examined at the City of Caney after this date.

The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
